  • Rename the Software Distribution folder

Step1: Press Windows+R key to open Run dialogue

Step2: Type %SystemRoot% in the search box and press Enter

Step3: Find SoftwareDistribution folder and rename it to Distribution.old

Step4: Restart your pc and try to update.

  • Run SFC (System File Checker)

Step1:  Right-click on the windows button and select command prompt (admin) to open CMD

Step5: Click File and then Save as

Step6: Name it wufix.reg and set file type to all files

Step7: Run wufix.ref and press Agree.
