Sometimes even restarting your console can do the trick. Here are a few troubleshooting methods that can help you fix the issue:
Doing a simple Power cycle can sometimes fix the issue. So start your troubleshooting process by simply doing a power cycle. Follow these steps:
- Press and hold the power button for the duration of 10-15 seconds until it turns off.
- Unplug the Xbox.
- Wait for at least 20-30 before plugging it in.
- Press the power button so you can turn your device back on.
Uninstall and Re-install App

Delete Persistent Storage Data

Perform Factory Reset

It is recommended for you to backup all your data in order to prevent losing them. Once you’re done with the backup, follow these steps:
- Open the menu by pressing the left button on the navigation pad
- Navigate to All settings and Press A
- Select System and then Console info and Updates
- Select Reset Console
- Choose Reset and Remove everything
The Xbox will now reset. After doing this, hopefully, you will not receive the Error code 0x803f8001 anymore.
